Can an old epoxy floor be coated again?
It depends on the old coating. A floor that is lifting or peeling usually needs the weak layer removed first, and a sound one may take a new coat. Start with photos of what is there now.
Does Sarasota's heat rule out epoxy?
No. The heat is a scheduling question, not a ban. Sarasota's normal highs pass the data sheet's substrate limit in 6 months per year1. The other months run cooler. Ask the installer how they handle the hot ones.
